Greetings to you all in this new month of March

Dear Calebites,
Greetings to you all in this new month of March! I hope this message meets you well and in good spirits.
It has been a remarkable journey serving you as your Alumni President, and as I reflect on how far we have come, I am filled with gratitude. Starting up the alumni network was no small feat. It was challenging, exhausting, and often required pushing through resistance. But today, we stand as a formidable body, growing in strength, unity, and impact. We have achieved a lot together, and now, it is time for someone with fresh ideas, zeal, and energy to take up the mantle and continue the work. The alumni network needs a leader who will build on the foundation we have laid and take us to even greater heights.

In that light, I am excited to announce that during the upcoming Alumni Reunion 2.0 in September, manifestos will be read, and in October, we will hold elections for new alumni executives. I encourage everyone who is passionate about our growth to step forward and contest for leadership positions. Leading the Caleb Alumni Network is a responsibility that requires dedication and sacrifice, and I am confident that among us, there are capable individuals ready to take up the challenge. Rest assured, I will always be available to support the alumni in whatever capacity I can.
HARD WORK PAYS! Let me remind you, dear Calebites, that there is no shortcut to success. Hard work pays, but it requires patience. Many people expect instant gratification once they put in the effort, but life does not always work that way. It is reap what you sow, not reap where you sow. Your diligence, perseverance, and commitment to excellence will always pay off, even if not immediately. Keep being diligent in your endeavors and trust the process. We are a generation of Calebites who are hardworking, resilient, and determined to make a difference.
BE A GOOD AMBASSADOR As you continue your journey in your various professions, businesses, and personal growth, always remember to be a proud ambassador of Caleb University. Let your words, actions, and achievements reflect positively on the institution that helped shape you. Make us proud. Make everyone proud!

Welcome to the month of July

As we transition into the second half of the year, we are reminded of the strength and resilience that defines the Caleb University Alumni Network. It is my pleasure to reconnect with you all and to share some important updates and reflections.

It is with a heavy heart and all sobriety that we remember our beloved Public Relations Officer, Mr. Adesina Tokunbo, fondly known as Teekay who passed away last year. His untimely departure has been a significant loss for us all. Teekay’s dedication, passion, and unwavering commitment to our network were unparalleled, and he will be deeply missed. His passing did cause a brief disruption in our communication and newsletter distribution, for which we sincerely apologize.

In light of these challenges, I want to assure you that we have regained full control of our website and data. The integrity and security of our alumni data are paramount, and we have taken rigorous measures to ensure it remains protected. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this period of transition.

As we navigate these trying times, I encourage each of you to reach out to your former classmates and reconnect. Many of us are facing unprecedented challenges, and a simple gesture of reaching out can make a significant difference. Let’s support one another and strengthen the bonds that unite us as Caleb University Alumni.

Moreover, I urge you to continue being exemplary ambassadors of our alma mater. The university values the relationship with its alumni and is committed to fostering a strong, supportive community. Your actions and achievements reflect upon our institution, and together, we can build a legacy of excellence and integrity.

As we move forward, let us remain steadfast in our commitment to one another and to the ideals that Caleb University stands for. Despite the hardships we may face, let us find strength in our unity and resilience.

Thank you for your continued support and involvement in the Caleb University Alumni Network. We look forward to a productive and positive second half of the year.

Warm regards,

Arc. Christian Odefadehan

FAR FROM HOME – From the table of the President. – CUAN

Hello friends,

I write to you with immense gratitude and a deep sense of responsibility as I address you as your Alumni President. As we move about our daily lives and activities; both at me and abroad, we find ourselves at a crucial juncture in our journey. Our years are meant to be transformative, not just in terms of professional growth, but also in shaping our character, nurturing our passions, and preparing us to become responsible citizens of the world. I firmly believe that our collective efforts can make a significant difference in the lives of every alumnus of our institution.

First and foremost, I want to emphasize the importance of unity. Our diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences should be celebrated and embraced.

Christian Odefadahan, President CALEB University Alumni NETWORK

Let us create an inclusive environment where every alumnus at home and abroad feels valued, respected, and heard. By fostering a culture of unity, we can harness the power of our collective potential, working together towards common goals and overcoming any obstacles that may come our way. I want to remind our alumni abroad that although they are far from home, they are very close to our hearts.

One of my key priorities as your Alumni President is to ensure that your voices are not only heard but actively listened to. I am working tirelessly to establish open channels of communication between the alumni, administration, and the university. I encourage each of you to express your ideas, concerns, and aspirations so that we can work collaboratively to make our college experience even better. Your feedback and suggestions are invaluable, and together, we can create positive change.

Furthermore, I am dedicated to promoting mental health and well-being among our alumni body. The times can be a challenging, and it is crucial that we support one another through the highs and lows. Let us build a caring community where no alumnus feels alone or unsupported.

To many more years and seasons through bonds, friendships, and relationships.

Happy New Month!
